PeopleBrowsr Has Opened The New York Social Media Command Center

It’s been an exciting year for us, across all time zones in all corners of the world. We’re happy to announce that we’ve officially opened our New York Command Center at 404 Park Avenue. Just steps away from Madison Square Park, Gramercy, Murray Hill and the Empire State Building - and just around the corner from the 28th St Lexington station - it’s no wonder we’re in love with our Midtown East location.

Globally, PeopleBrowsr enjoys opening its doors to the community as a place for social media contributors to call home. Our social media command centers host developers, designers and marketers building the social media space all under one roof. We believe in creating collaborative environments for real-time engagement in the social hub by transforming ‘office space’ into an incubator for shared experience.

We celebrated our grand opening by hosting an event with Masha Geller and the First Wednesday Marketing Group. It was a lively evening, and an appropriate launching pad for our official introduction to the New York Social Media scene.

Leading the New York team is Becky Wang, VP of Business Development and US General Manager for PeopleBrowsr.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the field of real-time content acquisition and management technologies, she’s held a diverse set of management and executive positions. She has worked in a range of positions: from customer service to marketing to product management to executive producer to business development in tech start-ups, high-growth firms, and entertainment companies in industries as diverse as finance, fashion, entertainment, and now, social media.
She truly brings diversity to a whole new level, with a breadth of experience that is truly a breath of fresh air.

Past, Becky’s served as a digital marketing consultant to entertainment groups including Laura Ziskin Productions and EIF. She’s held management and executive positions with an organizational focus in contextual data mining, semantic analysis, and web analytics firms such as Revere Data, CNET, Washington Mutual and Organic.

Along with Becky, we’re very excited to introduce you to our newest member of the PeopleBrowsr family.

We’re also happy to introduce Jessica Gasthalter, Business Development. A 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland, Jessica took advantage of her close proximity to Washington, D.C. by working at several non-profits – including a women’s political organization and an international business network – along with a public interest Public Relations firm while at school. After receiving her B.A. in Communications/Public Relations, Jessica, she worked at a webcasting company on the West Side. Deciding it was time for an exciting change, she began working as an Account Manager at PeopleBrowsr, where she is involved in East Coast sales, business development and account management.

Establishing our presence on the East Coast with a command center in New York is a celebratory moment for us. We’ll be hosting future events, opening our doors to our customers and, as always, welcoming our friends.
