Userbility and marketing

After all this coding we need to work on making PeopleBrowsr user friendly and fun. We want a broader understanding of the users and what their favorite networks are. We have to start listening and talking to them a lot more. And we need to write FAQs, a blog, something about us and PeopleBrowsr's history.

Upgrade 'Stream' View

Some people are image oriented: 'Gallery' is perfect for them, but some other are text oriented.
Time to work on the third of PeopleBrowsr's views: the 'Stream', a multisource texty flow of posts, photos, videos and tweets on one or several columns.

ADSL Line Goes Down - Stopped For 3 Days

Disaster, shame and fear. The ADSL line went down for three, seemingly endless days.
We could do next to nothing. Plenty of ideas but no way to work on them. Paralysed by a torn broadband.
We felt so powerless, and worked as best as we could, but there was no way to test.
So glad it's finally over. Back on track again

Terms & Conditions + Privacy

PeopleBrowsr is taking shape, real people from different online communities are set to use it.We need rules, terms & conditions and a privacy policy. That's what we're working on, right now.

We asked to a group of web users from different communities how they would like PeopleBrowsr to handle privacy.

The Reply Option

The 'Gallery' looks awesome and is getting better and better. It's still pretty slow to load, but people like it. We can now watch feeds from all over. They appear in popping bubbles, and man are those bubbles appetizing.

Our test users - an amazing group of students from the university of Sydney - said: "Reading live extracts of conversations makes us want to reply".
"Reply?", you say. Cool, we set up the reply option.

Defer Early Launch For Facebook And iPhone

Since Facebook said 'No access to the wall', we have to start the Facebook thing all over again. We'll take what we've done, put more work into it and adapt it.
And we're building an iPhone version of PeopleBrowsr. That's taking some more time, but it's completely worth it.
