Here’s an article you might not expect.

Even with all the best intentions and passion in the world, entrepreneurs face many obstacles trying to get a new idea off the ground. 

Even though a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes the right words or an inspirational quote is just what you need to make it through the day, to inspire your team or to change your perspective. 

It’s that time of the year again. We’ve all come up with resolutions to make 2018 our best year ever. This first week of January, everyone is on his or her best behavior but the problem is never getting started. The problem is keeping the resolutions going throughout the year.

In my experience, there are two classic traps that leaders fall into. These are often strong, talented leaders, and they make these mistakes with the best of intentions. Yet falling into these traps can derail good leaders from becoming great ones. My hope is that sharing my observations might help other leaders steer clear of these potentially damaging behaviors. 

Leading with IQ: 

Smart leaders know they can be coaches in most any business situation. Every leader can be a coach and mentor, regardless of their formal role or level in an organization.

From moonlighting as a DJ, to hosting corporate events with over 7,000 attendees, and producing a television series… there are few things that the charismatic Tony Eades cannot do.
