Can you imagine a man born to be an Olympian and a marketing wizard? Meet Adam Paul Steinhardt, the Australian athlete and entrepreneur who started his company Next Byte in 1995 while he was training for the Olympics.

Say the word “boss” and most people imagine a well-heeled executive, jetting between meetings and bellowing directives that a faithful group of employees dutifully carry out. Not exactly.

I recently wrote about the three things I wish I’d known before becoming a CEO.  Today, I want to briefly discuss how I see the model for being a successful leader evolving in today’s fast-changing world. 

His name has been made into a hashtag and splashed across the webisphere. He’s met with leading influencers and business leaders from around the globe. His office is touted as one of the best places to work. He works side-by-side with his father and best friend who has been described as a “leader with an ‘x’ factor that often can’t be explained.”
